String Cup is free to download. Full family use is offered through a paid annual family subscription, with current pricing shown in the app store before you buy.
Does my child need a phone number or email?
No. Family members join with your private family code and protect their own profile with a PIN.
Can strangers contact my kids?
No. Only people who have joined your family can message inside it. There is no public search or contact discovery.
Can grandparents join family group chat?
Grandparent profiles connect through direct messages with family members. Family group chat is for parent and child profiles.
What happens to family group messages after 48 hours?
They leave the everyday group chat view to keep things uncluttered. They are not permanently deleted; parents can access them in the group chat archive.
Which devices does it work on?
String Cup is live on Google Play for Android. It has been approved for the Apple App Store and availability is rolling out, so use the App Store link to check your region. Existing families can also open the web app.
